Become a Verizon Thinkfinity Trainer!

ThisFREE train-the-trainer session is intended for educators and technology integration specialists who are interested in becoming Thinkfinity Trainers. Thinkfinity Trainers are educators prepared to train other educators to help them integrate Verizon Thinkfinity's amazing resources into the curriculum.

Verizon Thinkfinity provides free, standards-based, high quality, online resources through a partnership between the Verizon Foundation and 11 of the nation's leading educational organizations, including:

  • The International Reading Association
  • The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
  • The National Council of Teachers of English
  • The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
  • The National Geographic Society
  • and more....

The consortium partners include: Read Write Think, Illuminations, ARTSEDGE, Xpeditions, Science NetLinks, EDITSITEment and Smithsonian's History Exlporer.

Session topics include an overview of Verizon Thinkfinity and its partner sites. Attendees will have opportunities to collaborate with other professionals to discuss various training strategies and will create customized training plans for implementing Thinkfinity within their schools.

MOBI 101 Training

The Interwrite SchoolPad/MOBI is an interactive tablet that helps teachers organize and enhance teaching. After participating in this workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Integrate CST/CAHSEE released test questions into lessons
  • Create digital lesons that make connections with all students
  • Use the interwrite SchoolPad/MOBI to differentiate instruction
